Sheffield Precision Medical were honoured at the annual Medilink Yorkshire & Humber Healthcare Business Awards 2017 by winning the Export achievement award. The event, held at the Mercure St Paul’s Hotel and Spa in Sheffield, rewarded the world-class quality services and products of the region. Although exporting can be tough, SPM have enjoyed a 58 per cent increase in foreign sales over the last year and new market development is at 85 per cent. Judges said the business was providing jobs and increasing efficiencies through lights-out machining especially for the tough market of Japan.
