Sheffield Precision have taken delivery of a new wire EDM from Sodick. This new linear drive EDM allows small and complex geometries with small corner radii to be machined. It features a user-friendly interface and operation which promises to aid SPM to continue meeting customer demand.
The new Sodick takes its place next to the existing Agie Charmilles machine and brings with it, increased capacity alongside reduced lead times. With more machine deliveries scheduled, further expansion of SPM is on the horizon.
